Our projects include reflex-1, a local decision model; Samsara VLA, an experimental robot policy. Colony gives agents ongoing work, memory and tools across sessions. re1 connects video recall with reconstructed environments for physical AI research.

Roles are remote-first. Some deployments require time at partner facilities. The engineers who build a system also help test it and get it running.

Open roles
Research engineer, robot learning
VLA policies, imitation learning and manipulation evaluation in simulation and on robots.
Experience training a robot policy and diagnosing differences between simulation and hardware.
3D vision engineer
Spatial memory, multi-view reconstruction, calibrated tracking and simulation-ready scene representations.
Experience testing camera calibration, reconstruction quality and the limits of estimated geometry.
Systems engineer, agent runtime
Colony's persistent agents, computer use, memory, scheduled work and goal evaluation.
Experience with concurrent execution, recovery after interruption and tracing a result back to the work that produced it.
Deployment engineer
On-site and air-gapped installations, GPU sizing, camera connections and business-system integration.
Experience deploying and debugging systems with restricted network access.
